M&E subcontractors submit more RAMS than almost anyone else on a project, and they are frequently produced under time pressure by people who are excellent installers but have never sat on the reviewing side. The lifting element people miss

Rooftop plant, chillers, AHUs, transformers and packaged plant almost always arrive by crane. That lift needs planning under LOLER 1998 by a competent person, and a principal contractor will expect the lift plan and the M&E method statement to be consistent with each other.
